A child must be neurologically ready to learn. Many children perform academic tasks inadequately because they have not mastered the movement control upon which these academic tasks depend. Children Kindergarten through 2nd grade will benefit from Brain Workout activities if they:
- Cannot sit still or stay focused
- Cannot recognize and name numbers and letters
- Are disruptive in the classroom
- Cannot follow extended verbal instruction
- Haven’t learned to read
- Struggle with arithmetic concepts
