About

Labeling children has numerous negative consequences, among which are: Stigmatizing the slower learners and setting them apart from the others; lowering their self-concept; and relieving teachers of the responsibility to teach and parents of the responsibility to train their children.

At the Brain Workout Center, we believe that brains are either well developed or underdeveloped. Training is the key.  Commitment to daily practice and weekly sessions at the BWC with a personalized coach brings results–without drugs or labels.

Our successful program delivers remediation¹ through the following components:

1. A physical program that focuses on sensory motor and eye movement skills;

2. Behavior training that develops self awareness and self discipline;

3. Cognitive skill building, based on the Structure of Intellect (SOI) Learning Abilities Assessment. SOI identifies the missing piece of the puzzle. Strong thinking abilities are validated and weak ones are strengthened.

¹ “To remediate means to cure, to alleviate or eliminate a problem.. At the Brain Workout Center, the student develops what is underdeveloped in his brain. Areas of underdevelopment can include positive behavior, mental stamina, accurate thinking and processing of visual and auditory data.

All students benefit: those with AD/HD symptoms, those in the Autism spectrum, those with reading and math problems, those who are very bright and are just not making good grades.
